    The latest changes have absolutely broken me. They had the points system in 2010, took four years to implement it and got half-pregnant with unexpected twin currencies. Imagine how easily they could've managed everything with pure points instead of epicycles on epicycles.

    Been experimenting with the 2028 calendar to see how the AFL will manage 19 teams. Home & Away has expanded from 22 games over 23 weeks, to 23 games over 24 weeks with Gather Round, to 23 games over 25 weeks with Opening Round. I can't see the AFL moving the Grand Final to 7th October to fit in...
