Very good crowd given the thunderstorm that was forecasted and has eventuated. That would’ve kept many home.

Good crowd. About as big as you can get for a standard game at Marvel these days. Frustrating that they haven’t figured out a way to get 50k back. Hasn’t happened since 2011 despite many sellouts. Needs to be addressed.

Huge! Freo have really arrived as a proper big club ever since Optus opened. If they keep winning we might see many more 50k+ crowds. Great for the league.

Pre-match Pav said they were expecting 47/48k for Freo vs Adelaide. Record crowd between the two teams is 46,431 at AO in 2016. Record Freo home game crowd is 37,172 at Subi in 2007. Will be nice to see a couple records tick over.

Yeah fair enough, just saw that the corresponding game last year got 38k on a Friday so was hopeful that they can squeeze a couple thousand extra in while they’re still undefeated and hopes for the year are high. Will be interesting to see.

Looking ahead to next week it should be a very solid round with good crowds across the country. Mostly ~40k+ I hope. The impact of it being Easter weekend can be hard to judge so l may be overestimating some of them, but l'd predict something like: BRI - COL, Gabba: 33k NM - CAR, Marvel: 46k...
