I think it's less of an overhaul and more of an unrealistic goal for an AFL game. I don't know much about Fifa, but a realistic AFL game is mostly stoppages and congested play. Once it opens up, a programming team could probably tackle the problem effectively, likely why this game is kept...
I also installed this (and sorry had to uninstalled it). Tutorial mode wasn't too bad, but the game was unplayable on Nexus 6P, latest android version. If it's in Unity, I know of plenty of settings that improve performance in Android.
Please contact me if you'd like an extra hand on this...
Game has been out in beta now for almost a coupe of months, and was very slow on downloads to begin with, and the steps to complete a full game seemed a little overwhelming, so I started on a VR cricket game for Google Daydream, which has been fun to play with, but...
Downloads are now up to...
Thanks for the tip. It's too sensitive that's for sure. Played this game for about 5 hours or so on my trip away, and I worked out you pretty much need a perfect swipe to not miss, which I couldn't manage often. Before I made it more sensitive everything was going through for goals, so I need...
Substantial update to the beta version is up on the android play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cinchai.afl
The key points:
* More thorough gameplay instructions
* Gameplay angles improved
* Player setup and AI improved
* Many bug fixes
I rushed through this a bit...
Brilliant, thanks for that. I'm spending another week or so to tidy up a couple of things:
* Adding a more thorough instructions section, this is actually quite interesting to do
* Will play around a bit with camera positions
* Will fix a couple of known bugs
* Also, I'm updating Unity...
Finally made it to release, on Android as a beta still, be kind, but criticism is welcome:

To play, you drag the player out to give them a path to run to, then when they are running, tap the ground to pass it there, they will...
Still a no show. This week has been as crazy as I'd imagined, so the saving grace was actually working through issues as quick as I'd hoped. The game is close enough now that you can play a full game without "major" issues, and if you can ignore some bugs (mostly visual) is pretty close. But...
No it didn't happen. I picked end of November for a couple of reasons, one of which is December is always rediculously busy.
However, I'm close! I've had a chance to iron out the major bugs, but not enough time to test properly, or sit back and work out if anything in my wish list can be...
My deadline is officially over, 12 weeks is up, the game is not ready to release! It's close. I'm going to allow another week to clean up existing issues, and hopefully get one or two nice things I wanted in the product. So hopefully by this time next week...
That's fantastic, this was one of the things I was thinking when I started this project. If I show that it's not too difficult to get something up in 3 months, maybe others will take their vision of how a game could be made and we could get a few games going, each from a different perspective...
That's pretty exciting you know!!! Contact me if you want some help, but definitely share what you have right now.
I won't be delivering an end result, I will most likely deliver about 1/10th of what I really want in an Aussie Rules game, but really hope for a bit of support and help to make a...
