I actually played* in one of the Tuesday afternoon state of origin games in the 80’s. Think it was 86 but memory is a bit hazy. *In the school band as pre game entertainment. -

I reckon McDonald is very underrated, perfect backup player. Kind of player that if we had an injury in a prelim to a big, he would come in the team for the GF and be crucial. -

Actually been there on a Caribbean cruise pre Covid. Beautiful place, was our favourite stop. Still talk about it, named our dog after a common word we kept hearing in the local language. Good for them 👏👏👏 -
