    We traded pick 25 for Greenwood so... hmm. De Goey and Crisp both had terrible years this year, it's true. Hopefully Crisp goes back to last years form and De Goey continues to improve. As for Greenwood... well we are a team of midfielders now so not sure where he fits. Hopefully Beams comes...

    Yeah that makes a lot of sense. At the time though Beams was a gun for us. He was THE BEST player in our side for close games and often the sole reason we tended to win the close ones. Losing him sucked badly. Of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm pretty happy with that trade now lol.

    Seriously though, it's low pay, but this is THE START. AFL players were playing for nothing when they started and it has taken them 100+ years to earn these lucrative contracts. The womens league players won't need to go through that as it will be fast tracked. I doubt we'll see them earning...

    Well, Baby Brock Lesnar is Frost, not Beams (just look at him) but I had somehow totally forgotten about Beams. Geez that was some luck you had this year.
