2 biggest things I'd like to see an improvement on:
1. Method of entry into our F50. Still too many long bombs to a pack. Needs to be levelled out with kicks out to a leading player.
2. Ability to stop opposition run and carry from HB into their forward line. Smarter positioning required here to...
If it's McGovern vs JSOS for the 3rd tall spot, I'd be picking JSOS without hesitation right now. Acknowledge neither are near their peak right now, but JSOS's ability to halve the contest and his consistent repeated efforts to win the contested hard ball more than make up for McGovern's 1-2...
My general view is that both players would go if they had to go - in relation to putting body on line.
However, I think it is their inability to win the contest when repeated efforts are required. ie. hot contested ball - you'd see Cripps, Curnow, Walsh continually dig into the contest repeated...
By the way I don't think this has been posted yet (all goals from the match simulation):

Williamson plays his footy with exactly the right attitude. He's a fierce competitor and plays like he cares. He's definitely still honing his skills and has much more room to develop and still makes mistakes out there. But with his mindset and the way he goes about things I can see him playing...
Who would be the logical replacements if one of Weitering or Jones were injured? Casboult back and McGovern to CHF?
What if McKay or Casboult were injured? McGovern or JSOS into a KPF position? That sounds ugly.
Yes - we look ok on paper without any further injuries, but the main point over the...
Yup 7 players on our list at 195cm and above. 1 of them is Cripps...
The other 6:
2x Rucks
2x KPF
2x KPD
That certainly looks thin to me. Other teams' number of players at 195cm or above:
ADE: 9
BRI: 10
COLL: 6 (4 @ 194cm)
ESS: 12
FREO: 6
GWS: 12
GEE: 12
GCS: 10
HAW: 11
MEL: 8
NM: 9
PORT: 8...
I used the voucher to get the New Era hat. It still cost $35 after the discount voucher, but the quality is much better than the yearly hat you'd get with a membership. The Carlton logo on the front is made up of white reflective stitching plus some thin rubber on the edges...really nice stuff...
