If you look at Pick 6 in isolation it really is rubbish. Looking at the whole top ten gives you a better picture of the overall talent - even then you start to see that clearly Carlisle is worth Pick 5.

Price hasn't won a post season game as a starter and looked shaky out there today. I actually prefer Stroman over Price for Gm 5. Annoyed that Dickey got pulled so early though - his knuckle ball was on point and we were 7-1 up. Gibbons was just looking for an excuse to use Price as reliever IMO.

If the AFL said players can't nominate their club of choice it would automatically fix the issue of compensation. Get some "no trade clubs or states" written into the players contract and that's that.
