It is not uncommon for yabbies to embark on some fairly extreme journeys.
I'm on a farm and some of our dams are a few kilometres apart. When necessary the yabbies hit the road between them and at least some of them make it through the grass, stock and predators. they are pretty hard little buggers.
Wouldn't you know it, I have had to do some actual work and have been bloody busy.
