Review Round 3, 2020 - Brisbane Lions vs. West Coast

Nice call, how many times does he get it, look around and then run straight forward out of the pack.

News Charlie and the Lions Factory - the Everlasting Charlie Cameron Trade Thread

Personally I value his ability to win one on one contests and ability to force turnovers with his pace up the ground over his crumbing and goal kicking. I don't think he's an Eddie Betts, more of a Cyril without the miraculous disposal skills.

    Non-Lions Footy Season (2017)

Only watched highlights but felt like a tiger home game. However bad the cats played it's absolute ****en bullshit they had to play at the MCG. And yes I'm still dirty about 2004 preliminary.

Review Round 20, 2015 - Brisbane Lions vs Carlton

My mistake Clubbeta, maybe I convinced myself a first year player couldn't be that cool under pressure ;).

Review Round 20, 2015 - Brisbane Lions vs Carlton

Few thoughts... So impressed by Harris Andrews, has a great feel for the contest. Knows when to mark and when to punch. Pretty cool with the ball as well. He doesn't have the physicality of Merritt just yet but you'd say he's already a better reader of the play than Rog in just his second...

Review Round 2, 2015 - North Melbourne vs Brisbane Lions

Yeah, fair enough. I wonder how long Leppa can play the two pure rucks if we are losing the ruck battle. The comp has gone away from using having two ruckman in a team and starting using a big forward or defender as backup since it allows you another more versatile type in the team. You could...

Review Round 2, 2015 - North Melbourne vs Brisbane Lions

Agree that he won the ruck contest, but you've got to give some credit to both midfields for Goldys effectiveness today. Even when we got the tap, North won the ball. He was super effective around the ground though, providing the marking target you want all over the ground. So I'm going to put...

Review Round 2, 2015 - North Melbourne vs Brisbane Lions

Getting pretty old this sort of effort. Just can't see the improvement. Few random thoughts for what its worth: Midfield is definition of a good team of paper. Names are there but the structure and leadership is missing. Rocky's a big out but I don't think we should be that far behind the...

Universal Love Welcome Aboard Allen Christensen!

Good pickup, one of those guys that made me jealous of how Geelong could continue to pick up good players without having the higher draft picks. Automatically improves our midfield.

    2014 Trade/FA Discussions

Interesting the AFL has reacted to the trade agressive recruiting of Sydney by putting some restrictions on them trading in. Wonder if they ever had the same thought about what happened to Brisbane last year. The way other clubs held us over a barrel and players 'nominating' their clubs is all...

    Non-Lions Footy Discussion

Few thoughts for what they're worth... * Ports list is enviable, Wines, Winguard, Polec all around 20, most of the other best are all mid 20s. Good chance of a premiership in the next couple of years. * I wish the Lions got that sort of umpiring sometimes, where going hard wasnt constantly...

Game Day Rd. 22 Fremantle vs. Brisbane Lions 1:10pm @ The Gabba

And go Ash, loved seeing him nab one from his spot in the last. Too bad didn't get a few more. Good memories.

Game Day Rd. 22 Fremantle vs. Brisbane Lions 1:10pm @ The Gabba

Has Dwayne lost his mind? Percentage being so close to Ports means it doesnt really matter if they kick a goal or so more or less. Its still going to depend on the game next week anyway. Am I missing something?

Has any caller got a worse understanding of the game he is watching then Dwayne?
