    If Port can get pick 1 and move the Cochrane bid from 1 to 3 (Bid on Walker at 1, select pick 2) they'll save around 800 ponts in matching, and end up with 2 elite talents. They would be mad not to strike a deal with us, and should have the picks to do so.

    He actually found players in space with a handball a couple of times when he was first recieve out of stoppage, and incredibly that player had time to pick out an option i50. We actually ended up running out the front of stoppage.

    Agree, think we should also go hard at Zac Bailey, we have to pay someone, he's energetic and better in the midfield than a lot think. Bruce Reville is another out of contract player who'd be handy, can play multiple positions and good age profile for our list.

    This really should have been the year where we allowed one of our experienced players to be out of contract to cash in on a FA pick. Balta, short or Miller would all probably have got us band 1 compo. Picks 1 and 2 would have rounded out the rebuild nicely.

    Yeah it really beggers belief that we have 2 guys who perform well as centre square mids in the 2's, Sonsie and kmac 2.0, and neither have been given an opportunity in there all year, or last year. O honestly dont get what we have to lose by giving them a crack in their preferred position.

    I dont think most people mind getting beat, cause this year is about developement. Problem is other than Lalor and Grjl, everyone else is either not getting games or going backwards and the game style is absolute dogsh.te. I'd be happy with marginal improvement in any area tbh.
