    Yes, most years we take 3 picks, often using one of them to upgrade a Rookie. 2-3 picks per year in the draft. Has nothing to do with the academy. We are unlikely to have used your future 3rd. The 2nd we would. But the 3rd was practically worthless.

    Crows wouldn't pay two end of 2nd round picks for him and instead he has to risk the PSD. Thats not great treatment. And yes, likewise, Lions didn't accept Future 2 + Future 3. You can make the argument both directions.

    That was a reply to someone suggesting that Ah Chee's agent had "severed ties" with Brisbane. I'm giving the guy the benefit of the doubt that he's a professional, and when it benefits his player, he'd comfortably deal with Brisbane again.
