    Hawthorn. As a Saints fan, I cannot in good conscience support the Dockers. (Ie. Sirengate and stealing Ross Lyon). Otherwise, if I was a fan of any other team besides Hawthorn and West Coast, I would be supporting Fremantle.

    IMO, I like the current final 8 system. It gives the top teams a double chance and is a breath off fresh air compared to playoffs American-style where barely .500 teams catch fire and win the title.

    I think the tone of the season started with the season-opening loss to Gold Coast. Once I saw that result, I knew it would be a long season for the Saints.

    I don't have a problem with Freo resting players. (Especially if it gives St. Kilda the victory :thumbsu:). In the NFL, clinched playoff teams often rest their starters in the final regular season game of the season.

    They do it some in the NBA. For example, star point guard from the 80s Ervin "Magic" Johnson was known by his nickname rather than his real name.

    This is only posted out of curiosity. Say, I were to attempt to buy a GA ticket right before the game against Essendon, could I do that? How were that situation change when the SCG redevelopment is finished? And how do the SCG members come into play and how many are reserved for those members?

    I a huge AFL/NRL fan in the United States. Unfortunately, neither the NRL or the AFL have match replays available in the states. Although a lot of AFL games are on Youtube though. And my personal choice in terms of matches to show is Collingwood-Hawthorn 2011.
