For once I’d like to see the Suns in a guernsey without the GC oval in the middle, this would’ve been the perfect time to do so. A shame, and a wasted opportunity.
I found some images from old footy yearbooks of Geelong players (1988/1992) and while the numbers were certainly dark, it’s hard to tell if they were black or just a darker shade of blue being stitched on.
