Mega Thread Days since Hawthorn have beaten Geelong
Hawthorn are "clearly" on the up, failed to make the Finals in 2009, straight out of the 2010 Finals, and 2 Finals losses in 2011 ............. good job you can't lose 3 times in a Finals' series. And as for our retirees, a shame to lose these stalwarts, but I have faith in the young guns... -

For the benefit of Hawks' fans, I'll admit it ........... at the time, the 2008 GF loss hurt like hell. And I hated the Hawks with a passion. 2009 eased the pain, but there was still a dull ache. However a 3rd Premiership in 5 years, and to be honest, I'm over it; I still hate the Hawks, but... -
