I do take your point, but I don't think it's necessarily as clear cut as you're describing. If his ONLY interest is the EASIEST route to playing longevity then logically sure, go the Eagles every time. BUT I think he's the kind of character who will back himself to still be playing top level...

Think you're underestimating Baker here, he'd be easily between top 10 to 15 in any club. If he can maintain something like his current form and is being forced out by kids Freo (and he) are winning flags.

Yeah agree it counts form something, just not a lot (and yes the Kamdyn comparison is a touch hyperbolic). It may well get him into the hall of fame at some point, but as it stands wouldn't be anywhere near legend status without a fair degree of success at Gold Coast, at least IMHO.
