I like him. He's the type of player that actualy demands a good defender from the opposition or he'll damage you, either on the scoreboard or assisting.
Very refreshing observing his determination to contribute, especially after his ACL.
So what if they actually don't respond Brad? You just keep playing them to avoid statements?
I made a pact not to criticise this guy and I haven't (well not after his appointment anyway) but geez it's getting hard.
No sugar coating this tbh, it's straight up awkward how this has played out and hard to see how it's repairable as the captaincy is concerned.
The optics of it are absolutely filthy
Will be interesting to finaly know the outcome but from the somewhat strategic timing it looks like a bit of a 🖕...
Interesting, would seem he was at the Bulldogs for their last Premiership too.
Fingers crossed our soft tissue injurie numbers fall and our genuine fitness levels elevate. 🤞
He's a gem, exquisite skills below the knees to gather at pace and under pressure with genuine damaging decision making. We have to find him help to fully unlock his potential...
He sort of has a bit of a GA Jnr build and speed profile about him. Not real tall, low centre of gravity, initial...
Liking most the kids. Kako below the knees at speed and under pressure is a beautiful thing... Bit worried about Lual though. Need to cut some more deadwood at the end of the year
We're either professionally tanking or Scott is clueless, I'm still not actually sure.
Russell has a decent record that includes Essendon 2000, Port 2004, Hawfs 2008/13/14/15 flags as HSC so he has form in this area
I had heard a bit of hearsay that Russell leaving Carlton was a bit to do with a falling out with Voss overruling him to select players that weren't ready. Not sure...
I noticed this too (twice) and I only got to see limited bits of the 3rd quarter...
Once was at a CBA which I was surprised he was at, the ball didn't fall his way but he could of impacted, instead he moved like an un lubricated robot as the ball was whisked away by the cats midfield. The...
Ouch, lol... Saw about 30 seconds of play. Andy munting a chest mark from Archie Roberts I think, then pawing at the dropped ball like it had leprosy, Cats player grabbed it, goal... Might skip the replay and just read this thread.
These things always make me really reflect on a young AFL players path. The desire, commitment, dedication, travel, judgment, lobbying, family and all the other factors that have to align just to get a shot at it, and for it to be so easily taken away in ones yoing career by concussion is just...
