    AFLW AFLW/VFLW 2024 - General Discussion

I remember an old adage that is spot on. “Men need to win to feel good. Women need to feel good to win.” I am hoping with this present change across the club, this permeates through in to the women’s program.

Sounds to me he is likely being treated for BS, not ADHD.

Nuanced appointments each addressing specific needs. Much respect. Good shrewd appointments. Go dogs.

That review is eerily mirroring our current concerns.

    2023 Membership

Had the same issue. I sent the membership dept. an email requesting ceasing auto renewal and forwarded my reasons why. Reflected above by many. I am not releasing any hard earned until the club stops treating us like mugs. I'm not sure if that is the right process, so hopefully someone better...

Not to mention a systematic doping program. Do that and you are rewarded with pick one.

Tian agree wholeheartedly. We have the pieces. We just need the right direction and cohesiveness to make it work. We still need to offload some list cloggers. And we need to be brave in delisting earlier than giving some far too many chances for little return therefore stifling our ability to...

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

I am not defending our administration at all saying this, as poor reactive and risk adverse decision making has us in this predicament. The club was placed in an awkward position when our original assistants virtually left in one broad sweep. Gia to Essendon (still makes me nauseous seeing him...

Prediction If Luke is Coach can we play finals in 2024

Agree wholeheartedly. Club needs a clean out of current administration, proven they aren't up to the task. Clean out all assistants for the same reason. Build solid support around the head coach (whomever that may be). Place the right people in the critical off field and on field decision making...

Rumour Future of the club (Bevo, board, assistant coaches, football department)

There are precipitating factors that differentiate why we are yet again in another crisis and the likes of Melbourne and Richmond aren’t. Both dees and tigers have a strong board and administrative support. Richmond courtesy of shrewd recruitment and Melbourne courtesy of the AFL funding and...

If the only ‘change’ we witness over this off season is a new head coach, and the club high five themselves about what such a great job they’ve done. I am going to lose my sh**. Rot starts at the top. Board has displayed nothing short of demonstrating they are incompetent short sighted risk...

Opinion The moment you thought Bevo went off the track

2017 for me. With weird getting weirder every year beyond. If it isn’t broken don’t fix it. bevo is an innovator, all good and well, however there have been changes to our playing style that simply don’t work, stuck with far too long. Can’t stay ahead of the curve, when the curve kicks six...

Could also be resulting from simply time. When someone is consistently pushing boundaries and trending against the ethos, it’s a death by a thousand cuts. Starts off annoying has the tendency to end up with a break. He’s been at the dees for one season. Probably retire before his behaviours...
