Tape, Shaw, Gorringe, Russell would all be best 22 at a fair amount of clubs. They could move elsewhere if they wanted and would be desired.

Taberner and Shaw would have a similar role on field would they not? My main concerns are Lonergan and Dixon. No rumours or reasons just gut feel given their contracts and the squad dynamics.

Nothing there indicates that you NEED a 190cm+ midfielder to be successful. I have no worries about the GC midfield which is: Ablett: 182cm Swallow: 186cm Bennell: 185cm Prestia: 175cm O'Meara: 185cm etc etc

Yeah do not see a lack of height there at all. I love how some fans presume if you don't have a 190cm+ midfielder you are 'lacking height'. As long as you have a couple strong, big bodied midfielders there is no absolute necessity for a hugely tall midfielder. Just a craze.
