I have heard that there are a bunch of rules coming in which AFL clubs wanted, including more mature ages topping up for them and parity on 23 players. Also apparently community clubs will have to find some more $ as salary cap increasing in a big way. Anyone else heard this? With NT Thunder...

Probably for a bit of security re: their strategies mate. But I'm sure either party can break the contract easily enough - the AFL especially I am sure can effectively do what they want if they give a few months notice. So 2, 3 or 5, not much difference except saves a re-negotiation (joke joke)...
