Bleh. Lot of underperforming premos, brought in JHF for McAndrew, Poo on the pine... At least got Captain Jackson which was about my only good decision all week.

Very tempted. Him and Serong are both on my shit list. Rachele as well, but I knew he was a risky trade in at the time - those other two were supposed to be set and forget. Got other issues though, so plan is to upgrade around them and hope either they come good, or I am in a position to...

Similar condundrum for me. Not having either Petracca or Pickett is killing me each week, so gotta grab one of them. Tempted to punt one of Rachele or Flanders, but I know if I do the ****ers will pump out a 120 next week.

    Captains 2026 Round 9 VC/Captain

Jackson VC Bont or Butters C Bit of a tough week to choose for my side - Steven King has taken the shine off King Max and Naicos is likely to be Mullified.

Caught my first VFL game yesterday and I've gotta say Stanley was moving a lot better than I expected based on BF reports. Was covering the ground well I thought, and a few vintage centre clearances was great to see (as well as a few standard dropped marks he should have swallowed). TBH - I...

I think that's where we probably disagree. I dont think his kicking has been nearly as bad as a lot of posters here, and I reckon at least some of it is carry over from his GF performance (where his kicking really was bad!). I haven't checked any of his stats though, so might be wrong and have...

On the topic of set shot kicking, finals specialist Gary Rohan deserves a mention. Loved watching him kick for goal about as much as with Neale.

He was involved in everything when the Blues had a burst in the second quarter. Then spent half the third on the pine and the other half at half forward with the ball locked in the Saints forward half. ****en Vossy man.

Sure, he needs to maintain it. But I mean his year to date has been worthy of being mentioned alongside the upper echelon of mids in the league. And its not like its a flash in the pan - he was already a known gun.

Anyone able to pinpoint what changed mid way through the third? Im at a bit of a loss - Holmes lifted, but he was already our best to half time. Pressure came back, but was also good early I thought. Is it that simple?
