Good question. Following your sharemarket analogy - I think you need a mix of blue chips and undervalued companies for your Premo picks.
Blue chips are your Gawn/Grundy types and those that finished top 10 in their position. You pay the premium to get good reliable performance and know they...
Not sure I agree. Dawson was playing mostly wing so didn’t impact Lloyd so much. To me, Sydney look like they are trying to be faster out of defence, with Blakey and Campbell being given more rebounding opportunity.
Still think he’s a good pick as he’ll take all the kick outs, but can’t see him...
Looks good.
I’d look at using your leftover $$$ to upgrade Denver. Not sold on his scoring potential based on what I’ve seen so far. Same with ginnivan in the forward line, but could be a good POD if it comes off.
I actually don’t mind this. There’s plenty of scoring power in the cheap mids this year and all the premos are fully priced, so this could work well.
I still think you need one premo mid as a captaincy option though. Yes you can run Grundy\Gawn as your captains, but you are stuffed if they play...
Looking at these teams I’m predicting a huge number of meltdowns when the only def rookies named are McCartin and De Koning…
It’s going to be fun to watch.
I’m really likening this team - probably because it’s very similar to mine.
Thomas over Butters is a big call but one that I wouldn’t try to talk you out of. Good luck!
