    If he isn't picked up by another club, the AFL should allow long serving players to come on towards the end of a pre-season game at Whitten Oval and get a proper send off. JJ can come on in the last quarter, get a few kicks and show a bit of dash before being chaired off.

    Plan B and C was that we wouldn't trade for someone who wouldn't improve the list. Michael Regan explained this on the Danny Boyd podcast which you previously said you listed to.
