Yeah TISM are certainly before my time. Agree on Kings of Leon. I'm not really a hard/heavy rock fan - more of an alternative and garage man - bands like Kasabian, The Vines, The Dandy Warhols, The Strokes and even LCD Soundsystem - me and my mates were amongst the youngest at Festival Hall when they came out earlier this year - in fact, my mate's mum was there. But I have a pretty song love of the more electronic side of things too - whether it be rock, downtempo, alternative hip-hop (such as De La Soul or A Tribe Called Quest) or even breakbeat (Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers).
Pretty much, I like anything not too commercial, as long as it's not really soft and boring or really heavy like metal. -
