    He's trying s bit but he's just older and about 6 inch shorter than players defending him... who are younger and almost as quick as him. Players like him always expire sooner because they rely on elite athleticism and quickness.... which age takes away the most.

    Can't have Membrey, Schultz and Elliot in the forward line. Hill needs to get fit quick and take Elliot out. Then bring West in for Membrey. Membrey as emergency or backup is suitable for his age. West, Hill and Scultz would mesh better... then have McCreery, Sidebottom and Buller up half...

McCrae relies on intense high pressure forwards to force defenders to turn the ball over or kick to Pies wall of defense.     Even with Naicos, Lions would have won. They had 34 scoring shots to Pies 15... And Lions missed so many gettable goals. You need to be able to kick 15 goals to stay close to them.

    Cameron is an average bounce ruck. He is great at intercept defensive marking.... but as a bounce ruck, he is average at best. Cox was better.
