    Pendles still has the teams best mind, he tells players where to go and what to do and it usually leads to good things. Sure, he looks slow but he still knows what to do with the ball when he gets it. He was the difference last year against Lions in the prelim.

    Concern for me is that Collingwood couldn't defend or stop Geelong handballing their way out of the Collingwood forward 50 and into a objectively open goal path for Geelong. Like the cats had 2 or 3 free players ready to run the ball to the goal square.... easily. What disappointed me the most...

    Pies started fast last season and faded late by resting and got lucky to get top 4 at the very last game of the season.... But McRae and coaching staff saw what Lions did.... twice now. Basically, slow start and strong finish works well. Pies need to blood West and get Harrison some games...

    Yeah, he should have played spot minutes last week against Bombers to shake away bit of rust. Moore's disposals tonight were also pedestrian. At least he didn't gain weight. Overall his skills and awareness were below par tonight and should improve in the next couple of weeks...
