I don’t know where your mate got this information from as it’s not true. Gaffy himself confirmed that his contract was a long term in a press conference back in April. He’s also said numerous times he loves it here and barring his father’s health (which has gotten better) there is no reason for...
At least if some people want to be campaigners and boo, he won’t be taking it to heart. Big love for Scott, hopefully amongst first touch Optus can show him appreciation for what he’s done for us.
But would like to add that I’ve seen interviews of him post-west coast saying that he was happy to go back to port so I don’t know if he was just saying he wanted to stay because it was the polite thing to do or what.
It’s actually funny you say that. I attended the Woosh medals last year and briefly spoke with Scott and it genuinely did seem like he wanted to stay at west coast. My mate and I were a bit tipsy so it’s hard to recall what was said exactly but he was asked (half jokingly) if he planned on...
That’s pretty much my same train of thought. I do still have love for that bloody Larrikin and I hope he gets a positive/neutral reception however I hope Vardy/hickey make him their bitch. Up the coasters!
Genuinely curious of the reaction you think good ol slyce will get this Friday? If you’re at the stadium will you be booing him? I’ll be attending and personally, I’m not going to boo him (however I do hope he plays a terrible game) I reckon the circumstances on which he left are completely fine...
Good to hear today out of gaffs mouth that he’s signed a long term deal. When asked if he planned on spending the rest of his career at west coast he also said yes (though, I know things can change) glad that I can finally stop stressing about this haha

That’s great to hear, I went to a game early last year and I was one of the only people standing up in my block, definitely felt a bit silly but at the same time didn’t really care. Hopefully more and more people start joining in, Optus stadium really is our fortress.
