No, that's way too positive for BigFooty - Once they're doing well it will be straight to "they're going to leave the club on big money and the club is at fault for not re-signing him earlier".
I've been calling for it for a while (since June 1 last year, apparently, according to this thread), but at this point I'd be pretty disappointed if the club couldn't see the clear opportunity here and persist with Howes in defense for the rest of the year.
We've already got West and Buller...
That's tremendous news - He's been good in his limited action, so if he can make it through a few full length games we could see him in the frame for senior selection.
If there wasn't anyone interested in him as a sophomore or junior, they won't get more interested as a senior, one wouldn't have thought.
Milking the NIL money, getting a free degree, and then coming back to play AFL footy is a pretty solid working of the system.
This was literally my reaction.
I don't care what the stats said, or what his numbers were - This was him playing his natural role in the side and crushing it.
Josh Daicos moved up the field, Pendlebury played forward, Perryman followed Nas wherever he went, and Houston picked up all of that...
Regardless of which VFL club he'd sign with, he'd still need a home club that he'd play with if the VFL club had a bye, or he wasn't selected.
So he could still sign with a VFL club, particularly if he's training with Carlton as is being speculated, you'd think they'd be high on the list.
Condon's teammate Rueben Chinyelu has been moving past him in terms of draftability in recent weeks.
Scope for improvement in Chinyelu is higher due to his explosive athleticism and later introduction to high level basketball.
On Florida's YouTube page...
If Alex Condon starts dunking on everyone, every possession down the floor, maybe they'll put up with him not being able to shoot, like Shaq.
Until then, I don't think you should be bringing up Shaq's name in relation to Condon.
It's the NCAA tournament, a single elimination tournament between the 64 best teams in college basketball (well, 68 with wildcard teams).
It typically starts in March though often finishes in April these days, but it's known as March Madness, and it's common for groups of people to do...
"A special guest took in the final 30 minutes of training as Greg Stafford watched alongside footy boss Charlie Gardiner and spoke with Pies staff including coach Craig McRae."
Looks like a new coaching appointment might be incoming.
