South Australian Premier tonight poured cold water on the idea of a hub in SA. Said they've done really well containing the virus and wouldn't want to jeopardise those gains.
I note the NSW Health Minister has said they still haven't had a plan from the NRL to assess whether that can resume...
SA has just quarantined 750 airport workers and close contacts, there will be a lot more infections directly from that cluster. SA Premier very dismissive of being an AFL hub.

Has been a groundswell for some time to push the draft age out to 19 but AFL couldn't bring it about. Now they've got this unlikely chance to cancel the draft, create an U19 comp next year and have next years draft with more developed depth as late bloomers get an extra year to shine.
So is AFL restarting on 28th May like the NRL is? They got an ok'ing letter from the NSW Police Commissioner so looks like it's ok to play in NSW so everyone up to Sydney to play the games from 28th May :)
