    Review of the football department

He has a very impressive CV and I don't doubt his love for the club. I found him to be professional and courteous, up until the point where he was asked to provide the committee's deliberations in writing. Then he just went quiet. I wasn't thrilled but I don't think I've smeared the man's...

    News The Presser at Midday

With the greatest respect to Peter Nash, if he couldn't produce minutes of the nominations committee deliberations you would have to wonder if the review will deliver any uncomfortable recommendations. A golden opportunity to throw open the curtains and get some outside perspective has been...

Strategy I'm the guy who tried to run for the board, ask me anything

The nominations committee has no power to reject incumbent board directors (if they would anyway). Unless there is major change, I predict that all directors nearing their term limit will resign slightly early, the replacements appointed mid term, any challengers will be vetoed prior to the AGM...

Also to reiterate - the retirement of Glenn Archer created a vacancy, which would normally lead to an election. The board elected to shrink itself rather than leave a seat open for election. Unusual.

Strategy I'm the guy who tried to run for the board, ask me anything

My vision for North Melbourne Football Club is for it to be a successful, community focused club with an informed and engaged membership. As far as games in Tasmania, I would not accept any increase. To reiterate, my pitch for election is a totally separate issue from the one at hand. The...

Absolutely none. I have a few books by Lindsay Tanner on my bookshelf and I once attended a taping of the Footy Show when JB was on the panel.

Absolutely no connection. Never met him, never spoken to him. I see he makes some valid points regarding our current situation but we are not acquainted.

They didn't replace Archer. The board shrank by one. The board does not have a fixed size, the constitution outlines this. I'm not sure how playing cricket and yakking on the telly would go down with the current nominations committee, but as others have pointed out, he turned out to be an...

If I've missed any questions today, I apologise. I've been on the go all day and trying to hammer these answers out on the awful phone web browser interface. I'll get them all eventually. Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere 😉

If the descison makers thought they had a rock solid case to knock me back, why refuse to provide written reasons? Have a squiz at the charter. The categories are very broad. As I have said earlier, I'm not here to canvass your vote. The club has decided you don't get one this year.
