    The Curnow trade (and the Petracca trade) were considerably more than what Hawthorn offered. When the dust is settled I wonder whether Zach will look at that at think “Hawthorn just didn’t value me enough”.

    Debating whether Reeves or Bryan is better is splitting hairs – they’re both fairly average, and neither represents a real upgrade over the other. Bryan may still be injured, but he’s three years younger and has genuine scope to improve, whereas Reeves is already at his ceiling.

    You’re right but Watson would be on nowhere near $1m. If $1.3 starts getting thrown around he would be looking for a pay rise.
