Review Round 7 vs Hawthorn @ Launceston Sat 25th April 12:30pm

We don’t have the footskills or the discipline to play kick to kick. It’s either everyone go or kick down the line. Thought he was one the main culprits of the no look handball to nowhere in the first half. The 2 late goals definitely helped though.

Review Round 7 vs Hawthorn @ Launceston Sat 25th April 12:30pm

Hopefully this is one of the flights that Virgin is cutting to save fuel. Changes: Witts > Moyle. It’s time to at least see what happens, against Reeves. Adams > Clohesy. We sent Mac back anyway. Makes no sense. Noble and Weller on thin ice as well. Could easily see 4-5 changes if we’re serious.

Game Day Round 6 vs Essendon @ People's First Sat 18th April 1:15pm

Well, good to see us hold on to get the 4 points against Essendon. Just more of the same as last week. Not much to say. Coaches clearly don’t have the answers. Rowell and Petracca great individual games, despite the midfield mess. I may have to eat my words on Read. Got up and down the field...

We must just flat out not practice not having the ball.

As much as I love Bodhi thunderc**ting the ball anytime he gets it and Noble trying hard, our ball movement needs to go through Rioli at all times to be successful. We haven’t really tried to make him the A1 distributor with 20+ licks a game since he came in for some reason.

How f**ked would we be without CP3

Genuinely where the f*ck are our players hanging out? They’ve got the extra up forward, in the middle, and down back?

Just not AFL standard across the park. If you didn’t know any better, it just looks like the players have given up on the coach.

Our entire game plan is built around elite skills off halfback yet we can barely pick the right option let along string 2 handballs together. The coaching staff have backed a losing horse, and it’s going to cook out entirely season.

F*** this. We are not a serious football team.

Lacking pressure is one thing, but we also seem completely blindsided when the other team does apply pressure. Do we just train this way? Rowell been good at least and got the wind now?

Winning clearances leads to goals. Who knew.

If we’re getting done in the same ways week-in, week-out, I reckon the issue is more than just “the players need to lift” Damien.

2nds Gold Coast Reserves: Season 2026

Between Moyle and Mac, should be genuine pressure on Witts surely? Also the entire club being a bunch of one-way runners stinks.
