Certainly, this final tipping episode is one of the best.
However, I have the following observation with a hypothetical case as follows:
GF of Team A vs Team B
A) GF results: Team A (80) beat Team B (75)
B) player X tipping: Team A (74) Team B (69) ---- score = 12
player Y tipping: Team A (73) Team B (79) ---- score = 11
C) while player X tipped the winning team and with low score, player Y is the winner even his tipping the wrong winning team.
Question: is that what we want it to be? That is, should we factor in the winning team into the score. (Hope I haven't misunderstood the rule?)

The player's aim in the final game is just try and get close to the scores. Absolute difference between your guesses and the final scores, added together.

So basically,

if you win the comp according to the agreed rules, you are actually the winner, (like Brisbane)
if you try to manipulate the rules to suit your own purposes, then whinge about the outcome when it doesn't work, you are still the loser, (like Geelong) ?
