I blame the faint demise on Nick Allbrook's departure.

Nick Allbrook was never directly involved with writing or recording Tame Impala, though. It's always been Kevin by himself. I mean, he probably would have had an influence, but that doesn't mean that that influence dried up once he stopped touring with them.

If Kevin Parker had have released it under his name then it wouldn't have all this fan backlash from Tame Impala lovers.

That's a pretty interesting idea, and could be spot on. I think I've said before that Daffodils could be the best track that KP has ever been involved with, but its certainly no Tame song.

All this talk of Tame Impala has lead to me giving them another listen. Haven't listened to them when I tried getting into them in 2012 and back then I ust wasn't feeling them. Be it my state of mind at the time or whatever, Just didn't like their sound or style at all.

Gave their latest a listen the other day and I must say, Really quality stuff.



On another note, has anyone listened to the new Fratellis album yet? I received my pre-order Thursday, but haven't had a chance to give it a listen yet.
