This week's schedule at the DNC Convention; key speakers - I see they have asked Michelle Obama to speak as well.

Monday

  • DREAMer Astrid Silva
  • Vermont Sen. Sanders
  • First Lady Michelle Obama
Tuesday

  • President Bill Clinton
  • Mothers of the Movement.
Wednesday

  • President Barack Obama
  • Vice President Joe Biden
Thursday

  • Chelsea Clinton
  • Hillary Clinton

Looking forward to Bernie's speech. What colour collar do you all think he'll wear?

I don't get it.

The more people get their info from specific or partisan sources, the harder it's going to be to get any communication going. It's a problem.

Lol what the * did DWS expect to happen if she got on stage? Should've resigned as soon as the leaks came out

Dems are getting complacent I think, Kaine was the wrong VP choice. In an election where it's more about showmanship and being loud over substance, you pick the most boring guy. Elizabeth Warren was the obvious choice, that pulls the Bernie crowd in with her rhetoric, and she is good at trolling Trump into saying something stupid. It was a no brainer. Hillary Clinton really is an ordinary politician, it was a misstep in the first place to piss off the Bernie crowd in the primary when she didn't need to and she's gonna pay for it I reckon

Watching her live speech to the VFW right now.

God she is so boring. In speech and manner it's enough to send you to sleep...

I think she had a stroke a couple years back, or just some really average plastic surgery.

Anyway I hope this is the end of American 'democracy'.

Serious question, is Bernie Sanders the biggest cuck of all time?

Easy to be positive when you suspend all reality, ignore all the real problems in the world and lie about how great the administration is.

What a feel good story for all the housewives.
Did you miss the entirety of the RNC. When it was all about feelings over facts?

I loved the Governor of Connecticut introducing himself " Let me tell you a story about a boy.....and that boy is the Governor of Connecticut today!" Good on him for achieving what he has in life, just found it a strange introduction to have.

RNC had Antonio Sabato Jnr & Scott Baio, what 80s heart throbs will DNC throw up?

An endorsement by Scott Baio has about as much value as Sonia Kruger's opinion on immigration.

Scott Baio at least is in the 'Man Show' 'Hall of Fame' . He certainly cut a swathe through them and if its one thing conservatives love its a good pants man!

The pull of celebrities in politics in the states is certainly interesting and something I can't understand/ comprehend but at don't mind they are confident enough to wear their heart on their sleeve, whether that be democrat or republican.

Boo hoo, die-hard Sanders supporters. Sanders knew what he was getting himself into when he stopped being an independent politician and joined the Democrats. Good luck trying to move the party further to the left after what Clinton did to the party since the 1990s. He might have had more favourable head-to-head results against Trump during the primaries, but Kasich had favourable head-to-head results against both Clinton and Sanders and Sanders' overall electorate support will drop when Trump changes or at least moderates his stances on virtually everything if Sanders was up against him. Sanders on the other hand is too "honest" and won't soften his stance on a lot of things. That will diminish his support with the moderate voter base (the majority of American voters) and he'll lose bigly. Trust me on this one, folks, okay?

Listen to his campaign trial and his debates with Clinton over the last few months, and his supporters aren't impressed with his decision. He was pro socialism and anti corporations...Perhaps he has scored a good deal with Hillary, we will eventually find out.
That's cool, but when the choice is Hillary or Trump, what should he do?
