Not barking up the wrong tree at all As I said he is a candidate for the position that's not to say he will get itI think u blokes are barking up the wrong tree fellas..
Wouldn't be Reeves would it !!A former coach a kdfl club?
I was told a different fella so there may be a few candidates!?Wouldn't be Reeves would it !!
U would think they would have a few going for it.. Very successful club and have a good base to work with.. As I'd expect a high turnover of players.. As have happened over previous years..I was told a different fella so there may be a few candidates!?
Normo u think Auldy will put his hand up again??U would think they would have a few going for it.. Very successful club and have a good base to work with.. As I'd expect a high turnover of players.. As have happened over previous years..
What are the juniors coming up likeU would think they would have a few going for it.. Very successful club and have a good base to work with.. As I'd expect a high turnover of players.. As have happened over previous years..
Finished 5th I think, lost to tally on Sunday in a very close game!! So plenty of potential.....What are the juniors coming up like
As for the 3rds I think they had 5 play seniors during the year with the young kid Buckley playing in the seniors on Saturday and maybe another to play this week aswell.. As for coaches I'd say theirs a lot of water to go under the bridge b4 one will be announced..Finished 5th I think, lost to tally on Sunday in a very close game!! So plenty of potential.....
Also Normo I'm hearing that it's between Reeves & Cooper for the top job??
As for chalky.. He won't be putting in for it but I'd say the club would be mad not to contact him as we all know he's a well credentialed coach and has many contacts around the traps.. But has been offered other jobs around the district..Normo u think Auldy will put his hand up again??
There best mates and have worked well together in the past. Co coaches would be a good option biggest test would be to stay under salary cap and points if a lot followed.Finished 5th I think, lost to tally on Sunday in a very close game!! So plenty of potential.....

Yes smooth Neil Cooper was the current Gv coach I was referring to on an earlier posthe coached the 2s at the Shepp swans this year previous to that Shepp east 2s and their under 14s great fella with a good footy brain Also has a more than handy son billy a bushies and swans playerFinished 5th I think, lost to tally on Sunday in a very close game!! So plenty of potential.....

think it's great to see the kdfl lining the gvfl pockets with the move to mooroopna, surely we could have found another kd ground to hold a final and at least give some one an opportunity to make some money.so whats everybodys thoughts on this weeks games merrigum vs stanhope should be a good game and avenal vs nagambie
I believe at least 3 (Gig, Murch, Tally)were given the opportunity before Mooroopna was askedI

I know for a fact tallys ground was ready to go and Murch also would have had there's ready, not sure about gig but I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity aswell .I believe at least 3 (Gig, Murch, Tally)were given the opportunity before Mooroopna was asked
I think u will find they were all asked abt holding it but was to late a notice for those clubs to do it, so I've been told?I know for a fact tallys ground was ready to go and Murch also would have had there's ready, not sure about gig but I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity aswell .
Doesn't matter if the ground was ready to go or not, what matters is if the clubs were prepared to organise and run a 2nd semi final with less than a weeks notice.I know for a fact tallys ground was ready to go and Murch also would have had there's ready, not sure about gig but I'm sure they would have taken the opportunity aswell .
What really matters is the brains and balls of the KDFL. Try this scenario: It's Monday and the designated ground is declared no good. Using modern technology a call goes out. Who has a ground that can cope? I'm sure that several would be nominated. Ground decided Monday night, which clubs can organise volunteers to runs various food outlets, bars, umpire escorts etc with all profits splits on a pro rata basis? It takes a bit of work, the maths could be challenging, but f*ck me if an entire league with paid people in the Hub can't pull this off then we may as well hand over everything.Doesn't matter if the ground was ready to go or not, what matters is if the clubs were prepared to organise and run a 2nd semi final with less than a weeks notice.
Exactly hears a club willing to make it happen as were Murchison and probably others aswell , with all the rain we have had over the last 3 months some grounds have held up very well ,and now there told the won't for another week. What a load of s**t they can get f&@ked. Rushworth gets my money this week! The league asked us (Tally) if we would be interested to which we said yes, the league then had reservations about the ground holding up with all the talk of rain this week so gave it to Mooroopna.
