There are a fair few- Menzel, those who've been mentioned as trade bait, Simpson and the rookies are all still unsigned. Menzel's contract is being worked through atm.

Yep Josh Walker, Dawson Simpson, Jarad Jansen and Shane Kersten (and Daniel Menzel) from the AFL list are the only players who are yet to extend their contracts at Geelong F.C.
The rest are rookies.

Edit: Menzel re-contracted until the end of 2016 season.

Dean Gore removed from the Cats contract list as he was traded today to AFC as part of the Dangerfield deal.

Dawson Simpson removed from the Cats list as he opted to go to GWS as a FA.

Removed all the players that have departed the list this off season and added the 4 trade ins.

Have placed Dangerfield's deal at 5 years and Scooter 4, club hasn't confirmed but this seems to be the general consensus in the media as to what the length of their deals were. Have left both Henderson and Smith as TBA as the club hasn't confirmed their contract length yet.
 
I had added Scooter in #16 but did not have terms in the link yet.
Thought Id cleared the leaving players but thanks for getting what I missed. :thumbsu:

Will Fremantle make a play for him to enter the pre-season draft? Did we 'shop' him around in the trade period with no other clubs interested? Will he be a delisted Free Agent?

No, no, no, no and NO.
We have no article link on how contract status so that why its still open.

However, his manager was quoted on several radio and twitter links that Shane is contracted, happy at the club and the club have no interest in moving him on.

As soon as we can get a legit link, it will be posted. If anyone has it, feel free to link it here and i'll update the master list.

Gregson signed on for another year - in the hoops until the end of 2018. He gets to celebrate the news by playing for the Bankers this weekend :

Geelong have shown their commitment to young forward Cory Gregson, extending his contract for an extra 12 months.

Gregson, 19, was already signed with the Cats until the end of 2017, but despite an indifferent campaign thus far, it's understood Geelong have seen enough in the teenager to re-sign him until the end of 2018.

We only put confirmed contracts in here but its safe to say smith and henderson would have been brought over on more than 1 year. Menegola could have been 1 year or two. Delaney as a rookie is probably out of contract. The rest of your list is correct.

Saddest day a Cats supporter....

Boris was my favourite player for about 10 years. Shattered to see him go - it was gonna happen at some point but the inevitability makes it none less difficult. The epitome of what I think of in the GFC. Will be forever missed and always respected.
