The South Belgrave Football Club, affiliated with the Eastern Football League, invites applications for the following positions for the 2017 season:

  • RESERVES COACH
  • UNDER 19 COACH
The South Belgrave Football Club is seeking applications from interested candidates with the desire and ability to work with and further develop a talented group of players to achieve their full potential.

We also seek an U19 coach with a passion for working with, teaching and developing young men.

Applicants will need to demonstrate:

1. Ability to work as part of the Senior coaching panel

2. An understanding of modern football trends

3. The ability to develop and implement a style of play and team plan

4. A strong commitment to grow, develop and teach players of all ages

5. Exceptional communication skills both on and off the field

6. The ability to embrace the community values and expectations

South Belgrave Football Club, affiliated with the Eastern Football League, requires the services of a Head Trainer for the 2017 EFL season.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to implement a total player management program and will need to also recruit, lead and manage the training staff through positive leadership, good communication and strong organizational skills.

The position would be an ideal opportunity for an experienced trainer that can bring their own team and implement a professional support program to our club.

Working closely with advising the coaching staff on player fitness and availability, essential duties will include injury management, taping, hydration, sports massage and managing and maintaining the Medical Room to a professional standard.

Minimum qualifications required are a SMA Level 1 Sports Trainer, Level 2 First Aid, current CPR and a Working with Children Check.

The role will entail up to 2 nights per week from October for pre-season with two nights per week plus Saturday match day during in-season. The team will need to cover U/19's, Reserves and Seniors during match day with the Head Trainer responsible for the overall management.

Total trainers team package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Sandown Cobras Football Netball Club, affiliated with the Southern Football Netball League is seeking expressions of interest for a SENIOR FOOTBALL COACH for the 2017 season.

  • An understanding of modern football trends with the tactical nous to implement an identifiable brand of football.
  • The ability to nurture and develop relationships with all stakeholders of the club.
  • A commitment to upskill and develop talent to become senior footballers.
  • An ability to utilise communication effectively to get the best out of people.
  • A strong sense of values and behaviors that can be implemented to reinforce club culture standards.
SENIOR COACH APPLICANTS must have at least a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation or be willing to obtain it should the application be successful.

Senior Assistant Coach and Under 19 Coach - Playing or Non-Playing

A WRFL Division 3 Club seeks applications for a Senior Assistant Coach, and an Under 19 Coach.

Under 19 Coach

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate ability and experience in:

  • Leading the U/19 area – This includes liaising with the senior coaching group in relation to player development.
  • The implementation of the club’s game plan and coaching philosophy.
  • Develop players in conjunction with the senior coaching group for the potential elevation of players to senior team
Senior Assistant Coach

  • To help develop an emerging group and young list, ideally suited to an experienced player looking to move into Coaching toward the back part of their career.
  • Level 1 coaching accreditation is preferable but the club will support the successful applicant in applying for this qualification, if not currently certified.
  • Coaching experience: Not mandatory but please outline all football experiences.
