He can do that and still be tough. There's no denying his toughness IMO.
Yeah I guess everyone's definition is different.

Personally I think if you're keeping one eye on the umpire while you're going for the ball, your soft as s**t.

Nick Riewoldt for me is a great example of a player who is tough.

And how can no one have mentioned Lindsay Thomas? Tough as crete paper in a storm
 
Dale Morris - played the GF with a broken back.
In 09 he played a final with a fractured leg.
Tough as nails.
