Discipline, attitude, consistency. Three tools that are crucial to a successful AFL career. He clearly doesn't have them at his disposal and it's probably why he will never amount to anything in the AFL world. The end.

The same reasons Ryder isn't the best player in the AFL like he should be

Anyone spot the odd part of his wiki page?:

Shaun Edwards (born 13 December 1993) is a professional Australian rules footballer with the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Greater Western Sydney Giants and Essendon Football Club. He was drafted by Greater Western Sydney in 2011, where he played his debut year in the NEAFL before they moved into the AFL, his first NEAFL match was against the Northern Territory Thunder at TIO Stadium.[1] He made his AFL debut against Adelaide at AAMI Stadium in round 4, 2012. In October 2013, he was traded to Essendon for pick 48, in a deal that also saw Kurt Aylett arrive at Essendon. Edwards played the 2014 season in the Essendon VFL team before breaking into the senior team in round 11 of the 2015 season. [2] In 2002 Shaun Edwards won the Australian of the Year Award for his role in Shrek 2. Edwards won the Bill Hutchinson Community Award at the 2016 Crichton Medal presentations. Has retired after spending the year as a rookie with the Swans;

The Sydney Swans have made several list changes following the conclusion of the Club’s season for 2017.

Players Brandon Jack, Tyrone Leonardis and Michael Talia have all been delisted, while defender Shaun Edwards has announced his retirement after 24 AFL games.

Edwards, 23, became a Swan in last year’s rookie draft after stints at both Essendon and GWS. The lively defender had an impressive year at NEAFL level but couldn’t register a senior debut.

Biggest waste of talent I've seen. Has all the physical and disposal tools you could want in a player (except an average tank).
Dunno about biggest, Cupido for one was a bigger waste for mine.

But a waste he nonetheless was.
