Yeah but why 'behind'? It's not like the ball goes 'behind' the post every time. If you're dead in front and spray it just goes past the post. The correct term would be 'pasts'.
It's "behind" the goal post... if the goal is to kick it between the two big sticks. Behind that "goal" is the behind....

Yeah but Whether or not it goes 'behind' the post is completely dependant on your point of view relative to the ball and the posts.
 
Not sure if anyone bothers to listen to the pressers post match, but these two coaches, fair dinkum speak so much bloody tripe it is hard to understand what they are trying not to say. Chris Scott simply talks for the sake of talking.

Remember when Callum Mills gave away that bs free against the dogs where he forced the behind from just outside the goals square? The following week Chris Scott was on 360 and was asked if he thought it should have been a free. "Definitely, it's absolutely consistent with how the rule has been explained to us" he said.

Fast forward a week or two and the cats got done for pretty much exactly the same thing. Scott was in the box going off his nut. Says it all really.
