Has been raised previously. Left of own accord due to lack of opportunity. I think the general theme was that he lacked the commitment to play Premier grade, showed little when he was given an opportunity and did not get along with the coach at the time (Harford).

Obviously has some talent. Would welcome him at the club where his old man played if he ever felt so inclined!

Sorry .. need to investigate a serious run in with current players over a personal issue !

SMS with a shock loss, great work by the hoes, and fantastic stuff to see the Friars get on the board.
Big win to the Bullants on the runway today, not only impressive to beat the ladder leaders, but good to win at the best home ground advantage in the league. Ormond really starting to flex some muscle as well, some serious firepower from them, where if they can get on top, they can really bury a side

Stoked with the Hoes win today V SMS. Can not recall winning there .......ever!

Massive for our club to get a second win for the year and with several players to come back in the next two weeks (to improve both senior men's teams) hopefully we can continue to provide some stronger opposition each week. Huge test again for our young group next week V Ormond.

Great initiative with the after match by SMS with food and beers after the game as the two teams come together for a quick after match in the change rooms. Both teams having a chat and getting to know each other - never seen it before, but whoever came up with that .......genius! #OldSchool

A very happy Chump.

Very happy Friars crew tonight as we bagged 3 from 3 with our under 19s rolling Mazenod whilst both reserves and seniors had strong wins over St Johns.

Looks like a top 5 / bottom 5 split looming in Division 1, and we have to focus on performing well against fellow bottom 5 teams from here on in to survive.

Happy days tonight for sure.

Great stuff to Chump and Hedge.

definitely right about the 5/5 split, makes an interesting race to the finals with 1 unlucky team

I have been impressed with them as well, didn't think they'd be travelling as well as what they would have been though, they have adapted well, but still early days, hard to believe they were D4 in 2013

The Krushers just keep winning and they beat Preston . I don't think anyone predicted this and they haven't had the big tracks yet, which they love.

every game for that top 5 is so vital, nobody can drop a game and it's so important to keep winning especially against the lower 5, which will also be tough, because those teams will be competing like hell to stay out of relegation zone which is also a tight race, which therefore will effectively make every game this season so important with few dead rubbers, percentage will become very important

It's this promotion and relegation that makes this comp so friggen great. Always something to play for. Twists and turns everywhere.

Since no one else is willing to dip their toe in the water, here is the early premiership market from Pendles.

Ormond $2.50
PEGS $3.00
St Mary's Salesian $3.00
Therry Penola $3.50
Preston $11.00
Oakleigh $12.00
Brunswick NOBSPC $15.00
Ivanhoe $18.00
St John's $21.00
Whitefriars $41.00

Pendles was almost right on the money sideshifter. Perhaps Therry and Oakleigh could swap spots.

Ormond, PEGS and St. Mary's are still the three best sides in it.

Must have slipped his gaze. They won form fourth last season. Despite the expert predictions & almost unbackable St Johns.

We all know that the Bullants are September Specialists. I've watched all teams this year and don't believe they are the best side in the division.

We will have to wait and see how it all plays out Sidey.

4/5 last week...

Great wins by Friars and the Hoes, what a season we have coming into the back half of the year!! I think Preston will continue to show they are top 2 contenders, Jocs look like bottom 2 pretenders...and with the D2 grand final rematch this year I don't see things getting any better this week for the boys from Dandenong.

Oakleigh vs SMS
Ormond vs Hoes
Therry vs NOBS
Preston vs Jocs
PEGS vs Friars
