add the name of the young 7 year old with the name of that wonderful nurse killed on London bridge by these cowards, and what do we do here to protect our citizens put pot plant holders and metal poles up everywhere and tell truck drivers to not leave keys in vehicle- seriously? how about we get proactive instead of reactive-stop terrorists from entering the country,we are spending millions and millions on safety for a problem we have imported, start putting these monsters who are plotting against us in jail for life,if bikies arnt allowed to associate with each other suspected terrorists on the 'watch list' shouldn't be able to-got an isis flag in your home? years in jail and every Tuesday night is pork chop night.

They enter legally and are radicalised via the internet and imams inside the countries. That is the same as the Barcelona case. You can't stop someone entering a country because they may turn into a terrorist, otherwise you may as well stop everyone cause they may turn into a murder/thief/whatever.

I don't understand. Unemployment is dropping, so isn't that opposite of letting its people down?

17% unemployment is unacceptable and a fuel for crime.

if there is 17% overall unemplyment, youth unemployment must be 35+%. Then youth unemployment for muslims, from ghettos, would be even higher.

Seeing that really put into perspective how bad Spain is right now.

I typically think of Spain and Portugal as pretty impoverished nations bordering on impoverished eastern-European type status. Are they headed that way?
They've been like that for a while, with austerity packages etc they are slowly getting back on track. Slow as hell though.

Terror attacks seem to have peaked in 9/11
Now they run around with fake bombs and run over people with cars....
If everyone gave as little damn about terrorism as me then they would probably stop embarrassing themselves

I think its more to do with how high it is. Youth unemployment is worse. Currently 38%.

Add to that the tilt to a male dominated population, a sex ratio imbalance can have more serious consequences than many would assume including increased aggression and a reversal in efforts to equality. Canada appears to be the first to acknowledge it.

"The new liberal administration of Justin Trudeau has announced that it will only allow women, accompanied children and families from Syria in 2016. Excluded are male minors who are unaccompanied, single adult males, members of the LGBTQ community excluded."

Here you go. Muslim ghetto, no. Spanish terror experts are blaming the Imam for this one, when these boys should be out having fun and dating girls this sinister svengali is poisoning their minds.

What's it sit at in Australia, 9%?

38% is pretty damning, however, is that a global trend? I swear I remember reading that underemployment is a huge issue for young Australians.

"But there's one fundamental problem: there are many more unemployed people than there are available jobs."

there are more jobs than people. Always has been and always will be.

The issue is how to mobilise the population and have fair wages.

Bingo - give people little hope and alienate them from opportunity and it's a recipe for crime or radicalization.

It's not a unique European problem - far white nationalist terrorism in the US is predominately perpetrated by "outsiders" in areas of low socio-economic status.
Give people opportunity and crime drops markedly.

But I thought the EU 'needs' these people to fuel their economies?

The Germans need the EU to work because a combined currency leaves the Euro artificially low which provides a massive boost to their manufacturing sector.

Saudi Wahabbist ideology is not compatible with secular democracies where individual freedoms and civil rights are in place.

ah, blame the German people even more. Why are so many member EU countries riddled with massive unemployment rates, yet we are told 3rd world immigrants need to come in and fill jobs that don't even exist

Who is telling people that?
