This kid looks good. Was my next name.63. Sam Taylor
Had to think about this one because there's a lot of talent still on the board, but none who consistently win their position with as much of a point of difference as this bloke, at least that I could come up with.
Paired with Aaron Naughton for WA at the championships as the other key defensive post, and didn't get as much of the attention because he wasn't rated #1 by Champion Data. Went back to the WAFL colts and pretty much did at Swan Districts what Naughton did for Peel, but again didn't get noticed in larger public circles because he's not under Freo's nose.
Played out the back end of the season in the WAFL seniors, including a final round 27-disposal performance, before fronting up for two finals.
Possibly seen as more of a dour stopper, but clearly has benefited from being dropped into the AFL academy moreso than Naughton, and looks much more composed with the footy in hand too, linking up very well by hand and certainly more cleanly than Naughton by foot. Bigger lad who looks like he will win more contests on body strength, though perhaps Naughton has him beat on read, which provides him some more opportunities than Taylor bother defensively and offensively.
I expect he'll go much higher on draft day, and will develop nicely into a genuine KPD who might find himself putting up some Rance-like performances if he can continue his form trend.

Agreed. Well worth a punt for any club this late#69 Alex Martini.
Risen to the standard and performed well at Champs, SANFL and AllStars match so far. Think he's a chance to be a player.
