The most litigious society on the planet and a few people lawyered-up mean the wall is likely to rank amongst the 999,999 other broken Trump promises.
The mental gymnastics required by his supporters just jumped another point in degree of difficulty.

Cards Against Humanity has bought a plot of land on the border in a bid to prevent the U.S. government from building the border wall.

Perhaps now might be a good time to point out that Cards Against Humanity creator Max Temkin is facing allegations of rape.

Allegations. Exactly what they are and they look pretty flimsy too. But once again on the conservative side of politics, guilty until proven innocent.

What has that got to do with the wall?

Trump has over a dozen allegations of rape, and has publically supported his pedo mate Epstein. That doesn't change the fact the wall is terrible policy and a waste of money. What is it with conservatives and their inability to stick to a topic?

Both points are valid. Neither is relevant to the other

Cards Against Humanity own the plot of land not Max Temkin

Max Temkins legal status wont affect ownership of that land.

Dumb move by C.A.H. and Temkins. Temkins must have very deep pockets if he thinks his lawyers aren't going to bill him every month then hope for a refund years down the track. And when he eventually loses because the U.S. Government writes the laws in their favour he will have to pay the government costs as well.

2. Government build wall except on his land, allowing a gap for all illegals to across. Border control rounds up all illegals coming this way, once they step off Temkin's property. Temkins fined $500k per illegal for failing to secure his property.

Could Temkins be charged with aiding and abetting?

Of course they're prepared to be billed - they say so in their press release.

Or they could just not pay and get Mexico to pay for it eh?

You honestly think that everyone else who owns land on the border is pro-wall?
This situation is going to multiplied hundreds, if not thousands of times - CAH just have to pockets deep enough to keep it in the court system for years.

The wall is very unlikely to be built, and no progress has been made on getting Mexico to pay for it.

What I think doesn't matter. US Government has the deepest pockets of all.

So your 29% is a ''fun fact'' ie the new Fake News of Facts

As of January 2009, U.S. Customs and Border Protection reported that it had more than 580 miles (930 km) of barriers in place.[3]The total length of the continental border is 1,989 miles (3,201 km)

Now how about how much since Trump took over

I think it just highlights the petty nature of whinging about trump.

Are we upset he is building a wall? Or the fact he hasn’t built the wall?

Where was the outrage when the Wall was built?

How about we focus on the actual s**t trump policy and hold him to account? Being inconsistent or ignorant to the facts says more about the people whinging than trump.

Ive already explained this to you. Bush came in 2nd term when the internet and various social media sites started ie FB 2004 and Twitter 2006. The growth of these 2 especially skyrocketed the ability to complain and whinge incessantly.

Obama didnt promise a Wall. Trump did and quite rightly those who see Trump as dangerous use this as an image of his inefectiveness. This then flows onto all his other s**t policies.

This is just a thread for having a laugh at Trump’s grandiose, bullshit promises.

This policy played really well, so he went with it.

I'm still laughing at both the clear hypocrisy & irony on offer, for the fact that the supposed freest country on the planet is building a Wall.

China built a Wall & fell behind the rest of the world for Centuries as a result....The U.S.S.R built a wall & eventually imploded economically....Is anyone missing the relevance of these precedents?

I suppose a near-sighted person could confuse a Mexican for a Mongol....Or even a Palestinian for that matter.;)
