Here is the release from Mizzou basketball: “Michael Porter, Jr. will undergo surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Dallas, Texas. The procedure, a microdiscectomy of the L3-L4 spinal discs, has a projected recovery time of three-four months and will likely cause him to miss the remainder of the season.

“Michael is expected to make a complete recovery, and the Mizzou Men’s Basketball program wishes Michael the best during this process.”

How lebrons teams perform should have no bearing on his eligibility for the mvp award. Last year westbrook and harden were neck and neck for mvp race despite being b+ teams at best

Maybe I'm too critical but I've always hated lebrons defense. Loves the old chase down block , otherwise he is invisible. With his size speed strength and length there is zero reason why he shouldn't be a very good defender.
