Ashes 3rd test @ The WACA

I think these teams are more evenly matched than results show. Wouldn't surprise me if this is a draw and England bounce back Boxing Day Test.
Up until the Smith/Marsh stand the other day, average runs for the first 6 wickets was pretty similar for both teams. The difference has really been the bowling, and in particular Australia's ability to mop up the tail.

Realistically, England just don't look like taking 20 wickets for a reasonable number of runs.

Stupid question, but what's the reasoning behind pitching outside being all ok?

Never really thought as to why... I'm sure it's obvious :)

England will need some really good batting from here. And some define intervention from the Weather Gods.

Because otherwise leg spinners would just pitch down leg today to lopsided field settings and we'd all be extremely bored.
Thanks, had a feeling it was negative related strategies.

Though I reckon other bowlers could easily be exempt. Particularly pace. Leg cutters wouldn't move that much.
