Yea, i still struggle to see how an intentional act on a dead play is worth half what Davis got even with "history"...

There's no way Davis went head hunting, on the hit he actually hits Adams body first (similar to JuJu on Burfict last week)

by the way - Pat Mcafee's celebrated tackle on Trindon Holliday would get flagged these days for helmet to helmet contact - he would probably be suspended as well ....

The NFL need to change ejection rules just as much as they need to clarify the catch rule.

Make ejections reviewable, have the video reviewer able to buzz down for a review on plays like that, or the ones in the Steelers/Cinci game to see if they are worth an ejection.

They also need consistency and rules for suspensions. I dont understand how they can have consistency for fines but not suspensions.

On a play like that, why should the turnover even stand? That's a perfect way to stop heroes (Men of the Year ) from taking cheap shots at someone when they're looking the other way. Nothing even slightly tough about it but oh well.

2 is completely fair, it'll go down to 1 but nothing will really pay for him not being ejected. Also never mind the money and health problems this could affect the injured player.
