and they made Agar look far better than he really is for another close one at the Furnace...
would that be the same agar that has the third best economy rate in the tournament, inferior only to lyon (three games) and rashid khan?

Think the strikers might end up doing that after how well it turned out for WA/scorchers with Bancroft.Weatherald was a keeper but can't see them going that way. Maybe they could sign up Jake Doran.
Fair call. Why name Lynn then?View attachment 452851
Saw this on insta today.
no clue but could be that they didn't want to carry two injured players.Fair call. Why name Lynn then?

Also Turner could be planned for surgery straight after the tournament.
He's good. We made him look like a cross between Shane Warne and Jim Laker. He's not that good. The Aus selectors today said he's not quite there yet. He is also used very cleverly by the Scorchers, as alluded to by Ponting when talking about Powerplays...helps when your team backs up in the field as well as they do...would that be the same agar that has the third best economy rate in the tournament, inferior only to lyon (three games) and rashid khan?
could be one of those injuries that Eagles players get and the club opt to not go the surgery route that doesn't improve and they have to get surgery again. I have a feeling Turner will miss the second part of the shield season.Given this injury was from the preseason I doubt it.
Ah yes, I remember BBL01 and BBL02 not so fondly...it's only the randomness of T20 cricket that allows you to imagine knocking them off in a final...!

It's like you're playing the entity, not just individual men, when you line up against Perth. That line was invented in reference to Hawthorn a couple of years back...wish it was still true...! Their players aren't THAT great, a fairly serviceable combined XI could be made from the other 7 sides without any Scorchers involved, but the whole is greater than the sum. Put him somewhere else, and Agar would be tonked, It remains to be seen how they hold it together missing a couple of players in the next fortnight...it's only the randomness of T20 cricket that allows you to imagine knocking them off in a final...!
Hohns was yesterday quoted as saying Agar was still in the "developmental stage of his bowling" and wasn't ready for SA (Cricinfo)...Holland got the backup spinner's job...They just picked him in the national team
Whereas BBL03 put the saw the undefeated Stars go down to the Canes in the Tim Paine v Eddie Maguire grudge match...it was worth losing the GF to the Scorchers (who also finished lower than their semi opponent) just to dump that s**t on Eddie...Ah yes, I remember BBL01 and BBL02 not so fondly...
Lets face it, everyone hates the Stars for that.Whereas BBL03 put the saw the undefeated Stars go down to the Canes in the Tim Paine v Eddie Maguire grudge match...it was worth losing the GF to the Scorchers (who also finished lower than their semi opponent) just to dump that s**t on Eddie...

I don't have fond memories of that hack Blizzard belting it everywhere.I don’t have fond memories of Adam Cheatswaite and the 2008 T20 Final (pre-BBL) either.
EFALets face it, everyone hates the Stars
Blizzard continues to get underrated on here. It's bemusing.I don't have fond memories of that hack Blizzard belting it everywhere.
He's only been selected by a struggling outfit twice all season.Blizzard continues to get underrated on here. It's bemusing.
Beneficiary of being part of a very good team for a couple of years. Elevated his game, so when that team fell down, he disappeared.Blizzard continues to get underrated on here. It's bemusing.
He's past it now, but to call him a hack? He was a good T20 player for a while thereHe's only been selected by a struggling outfit twice all season.
He was a good T20 player for a while there. He wasn't a star, he wasn't s**t, just a happy medium.Beneficiary of being part of a very good team for a couple of years. Elevated his game, so when that team fell down, he disappeared.
