He has been replaced by Len Villani, who was talent manager at Eastern Rangers in the TAC Cup.
There is a bit of Eastern Rangers flavour at the club now, with Brad Wilson our recruiting manager also coming from there.
The Northern Blues can confirm the re-signings of Glenn Strachan, Chris McCabe, Fraser Pearce and Deven Costigan.
The quartet have been rewarded for strong 2017 campaigns and impressive starts to their pre-seasons with confirmation that they’ll be Blues once more this year.
In terms of the VFL listed players that played I think we'll make use of Johnston, Federico, Penrith, Sam Fisher and Strachan, with Wilson, Hill, Myers and Palmer making up the bulk of the senior selections for 2018 IMO.McDaid cut through traffic very nicely in that clip, really quick and love the Irish bounces.
Penrith is also damn quick.
Hopefully these younger guys can quicken up our ball movement at VFL level too.
So people are on top of the VFL list changes:

NORTHERN BLUES
In: Ben Caluzzi (Calder Cannons) / Max Dreher (Northern Knights) / Alex Federico (Northern Knights) / Sam Fisher (Sydney) / Matthew Harman (Northern Knights) / Josh Hill (West Coast) / Jordan Johnston (GWV Rebels) / Jordan Lynch (Eastern Ranges) / Brendan Myers (Wagga) / Jesse Palmer (Port Adelaide) / Ethan Penrith (Northern Knights) / Jean-Luc Velissaris (Calder Cannons)
Out: Kye Declase (Werribee) / Jacob Duscher (Frankston) / Sam Fowler (Frankston) / Cam O’Shea (Carlton) / Luke Russell / Jaylon Thorpe (Williamstown)
Fowler is a bit of a loss, but Hill, Johnston and Palmer make up for it. Declase was starved of opportunity.Significantly better ins than outs, it seems.
Declase was quite nice and Russell was fairly solid.
