With Pickett out for 3 months Carlton just lost the only scary X factor player it had in forward 50. Absolutely gutted. Back to stoopid predictable entries with no results and easy rebound exits ....kid was absolutely smashing it after his first ever pre-season and JLT series warm ups.

Now both Clubs have similar starting player outs Carlton with Williamson, Lang and now Pickett - except your side has more depth to cover.

8-10 goal win coming up for the tugs sad to say.

Its always a pity to see player cop an injury like that prior to a season and be out for 3 months doesn't matter what team it is.

We should be able to account for the Visy Park rabble even missing 3-4 Premiership players. Given it's effectively a bye to start the season, happy to play it safe and let them take the precautionary approach.

Wouldn't mind seeing these personally.

Out:

• Prestia (inj)
• Broad (susp)
• Rioli (inj)
• Houli (inj)

In:

• C.Ellis for Prestia - pretty impressive in JLT1 but a bit down in JLT2. Has the tools, just needs to put it together consistently.
• Short for Broad - arguably was stiff to lose his place last year to begin with. Looked strong in the JLT series.
• Bolton for Rioli - close to a like for like Mosquito fleet replacement as you can get. Exciting talent.
• Conca for Houli - started last season pretty well as a reinvented HB flanker before injury cut him down again. Pretty serviceable in both JLT games and hopefully has a better run with injury this year.

I think its because you get de hydrated, and then because you can't eat anything it takes a lot out of you. Like I said its a horrible thing to have.

I don't think they did, from what I read in the Hun he was the only one to get gastro, but half the team had a really bad flu like cold

Goldy is ok , He says it how he see's it and is fair even if i dont agree with him 100% of the time

He also gives both the club and player's credit when they are good

It's more his treatment of other posters that has him blocked. Don't mind his footy views so much.
