The Syrian War

You do know that when they escape their country that they have many options and avenues to seek asylum into Australia or other countries?
Btw, just accept the democratic process and wait until the next election is due by May next year!

Genuine question - what are the many options and avenues when it come to seeking asylum in Australia?

Just on a side note, my Uber driver who picked me up a few weeks ago, was a refugee from Afghanistan. Some of their stories are truly inspirational. The ‘agent’ who organised the boat sold it off as a some big boat but it was this little sketchy boat with 150 people. I think he said some people died due to illness. They were on the water for 10-15 days I think? Then arrived on the island was in a detention centre for 3 years until he was processed. Fast forward a couple of years, worked like a dog and bought himself a brand new car and is kicking ass now!!

Most of the Syrian population has been and continues to be expelled through a systematic campaign by the Assad regime to empty the country of dissidents.

Those warning against ww3 or an increase of conflict in Syria are either oblivious or spiteful and are nothing more then Russian minions whose protecting Russian imperialism and war crimes and actively supporting preservation of the Assad regime who is conducting a genocide and the worst case of cleansing and infrastructural destruction since WW2.

What remains of Assad controlled territory is now ruled by a bunch of terrorist militias and foreign mercenaries largely not in control by Assad.

Assad's Control Erodes as Warlords Gain Upper Hand

That's over a year old and blatantly rubbish.
"The two most important sub-commanders in Hama are Ali Shelly, a well-known criminal, and Talal Dakkak, who keeps a pet lion. It is said that Dakkak enjoys feeding his victims to animals" ??.... it is said that Michele obama is actually a man and Hillary Clinton is a demon! It is said that FSA commanders eat hearts cut out of Syrian soldiers...oh wait there's video evidence of that....

Newly Translated WikiLeaks Saudi Cable: Overthrow the Syrian Regime, but Play Nice with Russia

A WikiLeaks cable released as part of “The Saudi Cables” in the summer of 2015, now fully translated here for the first time, reveals what the Saudis feared most in the early years of the war: Russian military intervention and Syrian retaliation. These fears were such that the kingdom directed its media “not to oppose Russian figures and to avoid insulting them” at the time.

Sooo.... now the dust has settled on Trump May and Macrons impeccably ineffective strikes on chemical facilities that held no chemical weapons, and it's looking more like there is no evidence of a chemical attack on that famous douma hospital, at least according to the people who worked there, and some of the people who were in the silly video, will there be any repercussions for the dunderhead leaders who pushed for an attack that could well have sparked a nuclear exchange?
It's quite possible that the dead ones in the photos were some of the thousands of pro government hostages that jaish al Islam were holding who died in the terrorist groups captivity.

"For the same 58-year old senior Syrian doctor then adds something profoundly uncomfortable: the patients, he says, were overcome not by gas but by oxygen starvation in the rubbish-filled tunnels and basements in which they lived, on a night of wind and heavy shelling that stirred up a dust storm."

Interesting facts about Syria....

"•The Assad family belongs to the tolerant Islam of Alawid orientation.
• Syrian women have the same rights as men to study, health and education.
• Syria women are not forced to wear the burqa. The Sharia (Islamic law) is unconstitutional.
• Syria is the only Arab country with a secular constitution and does not tolerate Islamic extremist movements.
• Roughly 10% of the Syrian population belongs to one of the many Christian denominations, all fully integrated in Syrian political and social life.
• In other Arab countries the Christian population is less than 1% due to sustained hostility.
• Syria has banned genetically modified (GMO) seeds, stating his decision was made in order “to preserve human health,”
• Syria has an opening to Western society and culture like no other Arab country.
• Its media and universities openly debate the global power elite’s influence in things. This means that they fully grasp the fact that real power in the West lies not in the White House but rather with the complex and powerful grid of elite think-tanks and central banks.
• Throughout history there have been five popes of Syrian origin. Religious tolerance is unique in the area.
• Prior to the current civil war, Syria was one of the only peaceful countries in the area, having avoided major wars or internal conflicts.
• Syria was the only country that admitted Iraqi refugees without any social, political or religious discrimination
• Syria clearly and unequivocally opposes Zionism and the Israel government.
• Following a massive oil find in Syria's Golan Heights, occupied by Israel since 1967, Netanyahu recently asked Obama to recognize its annexation of the territory. To consolidate its hold, plans are afoot to quadruple Israeli settler numbers to 100,000.

And the most two important points:
• Syria is one of the only countries in the Middle East without debts to the International Monetary Fund ( Pre-invasion Libya & Iran the only others )
• Syria is the only Mediterranean country which remains the owner of its oil company, with an oil reserve of 2,500 million barrels, the operation of which has avoided privatization and is reserved exclusively for state-owned enterprises.

So now ask yourself, why are we truly attempting to overthrow yet another government? What are we hoping to fix here?

If the recent invasions and illegal assassinations of Presidents like Qaddafi and Saddam have taught us anything, it should be the understanding of the blowback effect of such lawless actions by the West and the vacuum of chaos that always supersedes it.

Debt Conquer. Invent a reason to invade and destroy, then offer $Trillions in IMF funding to rebuild... conveniently paid back by control of your oil fields and the free access to build gas pipelines to the west."

It's so freaking ridiculous, i can't even comprehend. This s**t keeps happening in front of us where leaders of countries are taken out and majority of the people don't even realize and just listen to what they are told.

Really gearing up for the fight with Iran now. This will be very interesting.

A survivor of the massive nerve agent attack by Assad in 2013.

Do you believe the United States has responsibility for every death by force in the world? Or is your argument more complex that the US bears some responsibility for arming, intensifying, providing mercenaries from its regional allies, creating the conditions for a civil war from what were originally street protests against Assad?

This one goes out to Ratts of Tobruk cos I always torch him like Dresden don't I #meds?

As far as I am concerned, the USA bears full responsibility.
They are the super power with military bases in virtually every country and an intelligence service with an unlimited budget.
Who else you going to blame?
